It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otha Wyatt BirknerJr. (Lamesa, Texas), born in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otha Wyatt Birkner, Sr. and Melba Rose Cook Birkner; his wife Katherine Birkner; his children, Allan Birkner (Julie) of Montgomery, TX., Derik Graves (Katie) of Castroville, TX. and Valerie Moore (Stephen) of Cedar Park, TX.; his grandchildren, Tyler Birkner, Trey Birkner, Kieran McMahan, Avery Graves, Kaia Moore, Addison Graves and Arya Moore; his brothers, Don Birkner (JK Gayle) of Tacoma and Tim Birkner (Jan) of Early; and his former wife Melba Rose Cook Birkner of Vanderpool, TX.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and their spouses.
