He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Sr. Alvarado and Vicenta Alvarado; his sisters, Susie Mendoza and Anita Reyes; and his granddaughter Naomi Elizabeth Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Clemencia Alvarado; his children, Oneida Cox (James), Zenaida Tice (Claude), Rebecca Martin (Raoul), Elizabeth Alvarado, Noe Alvarado (Melissa) and Steven Alvarado; his sister Alicia Rangel; and his grandchildren, Raoul Martin III, Brenton Michael Martin, Shelby Marie Tice, James Earl Cox III, Noe Matthew Alvarado, Jeremy Dustin Castro, Nicolette Danielle Castro, Jerry "Scooby" Castro II, Celeste Alvarado and Lori Cruz. He is also survived by great grandchildren: 6; and with other family members and friends.
