Harold Lloyd Hampton Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Lloyd Hampton of Krugerville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riley Hampton Sr. and Laura Lucille Carstensan; his former wife Glendora Miller; his brothers, Carroll and Donald, Sr.; and his brother-in-law David Starkey, Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Louise Brumley of Krugerville, TX; his children, Curtis Hampton (Renee) of Lindsey, TX, Karen Bartel (Larry) of Sadler, TX, Charla Lee (Dean) of Denton, TX, Evie Vela (Eddy) of Italy, TX and Shelly Pelzel (Randy) of Pilot Point, TX; his grandchildren, Wade, Lauren, D'Jae, Heather, Luke, Micah, Jordan, Kaitlin and Caleb; and his siblings, Jimmy Hampton (Carolyn) of Whitesboro, TX and Marie Starkey of Temple, TX.. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey (400 US-377, Aubrey, TX 76227). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Pilot Point Community Cemetery (600 N Prairie St, Pilot Point, TX 76258).
