He was predeceased by: his parents, Adán Mayorga and Consuelo Mayorga; his wife Lydia Ochoa Mayorga; his children, Omar, Gustavo Jr., Gregorio and Lorena; and his sisters, Irene Conejo, Magdalena Rodriguez and Ernestina Hernandez.

He is survived by: his siblings, Reina Espinoza, Yolanda Espinoza, Teresa Mayorga, San Juana Saenz, Elfida Garcia, Micaela Elizondo and Corina Vela.
