He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas and Rose Thomas (Nettler); his son Dale W. Thomas; his siblings, Charles Thomas (Frances), Harry Thomas (Sally) and Agnes Thomas; and his brother-in-law Lester Beheiter.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine T. Thomas of Somerville; his children, Ronald C. Thomas (Ellen) of Ponchatoula, Gerald F. Thomas (Nancy) of Mandeville, William G. Thomas (Linda) of Magnolia, TX. and Mary Colleen Lewis (Jonathan) of Kingwood; his grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, James, Jesse Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Zachary, Cassidy Thomas, Russell Smith, Dale and Natalie Lewis; his great grandchildren, Parker, Adelyn Thomas, Brooklyn and Aiden Smith; and his sister Rosemary Beheiter of St. Louis, MO..
