She was predeceased by: her parent Lorain Edwards; and her brother Thomas Edwards. She is survived by: her children, James E. Smith, Shane Smith and Brenda Smith; her grandchildren, Dustin Smith, Alexy Smith, Sabrina James and Allison Lambert; and her great grandchildren, Ian James, Ward James, Evelyn Lambert, Amelia Lambert and Charlie Lambert.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Killeen Memorial Park Chapel (3516 Lake Rd, Killeen, TX 76543).
In honor of Katie's memory and her battle with Alzheimer's, the family requests that any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, an organization that is dedicated to supporting research and care for those affected by this challenging disease.
