With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nathan Mathews (Kennedale, Texas), born in Denton, Texas, who passed away on October 8, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lonzo Mathews and Pearl Adeline Searcy Mathews; and his brothers, Edward D., Nehemiah, Thomas and Phillip.

He is survived by: his wife Melba; his daughters, Tammi (Mark Bransom), Liz (Robert Cook) and Elaine (Micheal Tune); his grandchildren, Ashli, Tiffanni, Mark II, Victoria, MaryFaith and Kyle; and his brothers, Bearl and James Mathews.

Nathan Earl Mathews, born in Denton, TX on October 13, 1943, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 around 5:50 a.m. after a long battle with Alzheimer's and lung cancer.
