He was predeceased by: his parents, Millie Ferguson and Oscar Ferguson; his wife Betty Jo; and his siblings, Oscar Charles Ferguson and Betty Loraine Paschal.
He is survived by: his stepson Charles Phelps (Kim); his grandchildren, Traci Darnell (Brian) and Ted Campbell (Sandee); his great grandchildren, Jackson Darnell, Brook Darnell and Declan Campbell; and his brother Jerald Ferguson.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
