He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Charles King and Jane Robbin Scott King of Kempner, TX; and his friend Eleanor J. Macdonald. He is survived by: his son Stephen Charles King, III (Bethel May) of Kempner, TX; his former wife Ann King of Somerset, TX; his daughter Diana Dawn Deister, MD (Christopher Allen Deister); his brother Sam King; his grandchildren, Aurora Jane Deister and Bryce Donald Deister; and his friends, Bob Kishk and Esther Daniels.
There, he made significant contributions to enzyme-based therapeutics among many others. Concurrently, he served as Director of Scientific Research for the International Preventive Medicine Foundation.
