We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2021 we had to say goodbye to John Elroy Mendel of Kempner, Texas, born in Lewistown, Montana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Emmet Mendel and Florence Josephine Mendel; his wife Anita; and his brother Bill Mendel. He is survived by: his children, Ermanna Latham (James) and John Mendel (Laura); his grandchildren, Lorrie Miller (Gene), Sarah Mendel, Jennifer Mendel and Thomas Mendel; his great grandchildren, Kayla Johnson (Hunter) and Blake (Chelsey Miller); and his great great grandchildren, Russell, Lincoln and Parker.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, flower arrangements are not allowed at the cemetery at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his name to the National Wildlife Federation, World Wildlife Fund or the University of Montana Alumni Association, Missoula, Montana.
