She is survived by: her children, Robert Pickering (Mary) of Houston, TX, Uwe Pickering (Susan), Devin Forbes (William Plaster) of Temple, TX, Catherine "Cat" Truelove of Temple, TX, Donna Sipley (Randy) of Kempner, TX and Marsha Hoilien of Copperas Cove, TX; her adoptive children, Amber Pickering (Tom Goodman), Michael Laxson, Richard Pickering (Kalynda) and Monika Brackett; her siblings, Marita Nobrega, Heidi Fux (Arman) and Richard Hofmann (Lisa); her brother-in-law Edwin Nickel; her grandchildren, Skip Geiter, Nathan Nichols (Alexis), Bobby Morris and Christie Lorta (Victor); and her pet Benji. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
