We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2023, at the age of 88, Escol Samuel Smith Jr. of Kempner, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Escol Smith Sr.; his wife Alice Jane Smith; and his daughter Mary Carol. He is survived by: his children, Marry Carol, Randy Smith and Diana Smith; his grandchildren, Jordan, Aracely Newman and Aliceson Newman; and his great grandchild Ariana Newman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, The Alzheimer's Association.
