He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Pitman and Dorothy Pitman (Gribble); and his siblings, Kenneth, Rosalee, Robert, John, Gary and Donald.
He is survived by: his son James Pitman; his wife Sharon Underwood; his daughter-in-law Erin Pitman of Haltom City, TX; his daughter Cheryl Burch; and his sister Mary Vorheis of Clarendon, TX. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
