She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bartel Rathman and Mamie Marie Smith Rathman; her husband Thurman H. Hughes; her siblings, Mike Rathman, John Rathman and Fay Mullins; and her daughter-in-law Martha Hughes.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Hughes (Beverly) and T. Don Hughes (Suzanne) of Kempner, Texas; and her grandchildren, Cody Hughes of Harker Heights and Skyler Hughes of San Antonio, Texas..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lampasas, Kindred Hospice, or Kempner Cemetery.
