It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Edmon Cox (Kaufman, Texas), who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Cox and Eula Mapp Cox; his wife Alice Bednar; and his siblings, Emmitt Cox, Lonnie "Caggie" Cox, Ethel Stanfield, Geneva George, Hazel Westbrook, Sally McClung, Dorothy Pirtle and Mary Lou Land.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Joe Cox (Teresa) of Kaufman, TX, Sharon Vance (Johnny) of Terrell, TX and Sandra Hevener (Forrest "Buddy") of Kaufman, TX; his grandchildren, Casey Vance, Julie Vance, Maurie Melton (Jeremy), Megan Gamez (Santiago), Meredith Mickelson (Brad), Madalyn Dominguez (Will), Justin Meyers, Alicia Bingham (Michael) and Dustin Hevener (Shelby); and his great grandchildren, Max, Charli, Ava, Emma, Eleanor, Henry and Rylie.
