He is survived by: his children, Ayden Abbott, Emma Abbott and Hailey Griffin; his sister Kristie Patterson of Wilmer; his nephew Tay (Laura Masterson) of Ennis; and his nieces, Lacy (Lance McCarty) of Palmer and Monica Masterson of Wilmer.
