He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert Holsey Jr. and Nessie Lee Harwell Holsey; and his siblings, Barbara Nell Holsey Sturm, Joyce Opalene Holsey Hill, Jimmie Albert Holsey, Jerry Lynn Holsey and Stephen Dennis Holsey.
He is survived by: his wife Chu Cha Holsey; his son Ronal K. Holsey Jr.; his daughter-in-law Gayle of Katy; his daughter Sandra; his son-in-law John Thomas of Katy; his sisters, Mary Lois McMahan of Port Lavaca and Jean Grantland of Port Lavaca; his grandchildren, Ronal K. Holsey III, Austin Christopher Thomas, Siax Tyler Holsey, Sarah Elizabeth Thomas and Victoria Brooke Holsey; and his great grandchild Ronal K. Holsey IV.
