He was predeceased by: his former wife Karen Sue Johnson; his sister Teena Gail Johnson; and his great grandchild Hailey Zorbis. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Boales Johnson of Katy; his children, William Larry Johnson (Christie) of Flint, Richard Lee Johnson (Terry) of Quinlan, Karen Lynnette Johnson Crawley (Steven) of Sealy, James Edgar Boales (Karen) of Rusk and Richard Buel Boales (Natalie) of Houston; and his siblings, Pat Spruell (Ron) of Hueytown, Alabama and David Johnson (Hazel) of Panama City, Florida. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
