He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. and Mary Bickham Hoyt; and his grandparents, John Lafayette, Marcelete Kerry Hoyt, John Bickham, Priscilla Squyers Bickham, Aunt, Uncle, Jeff and Martha Hickman.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his daughters, Catherine Hoyt Harrison (Rodney Harrison) of Katy, TX and Rhonda Hoyt Roper (Jason) of Katy, TX; his granddaughters, Noel Harrison, Charlotte Roper, Sarah Harrison and Hannah Roper; his sister Joyce Hoyt Lyford (John); and also Baton Rouge.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that friends and family bring a stuffed tiger to the July 25th Celebration of Life ceremony to be donated at the Texas Children's Hospital in Katy, Texas. (no team or religious affiliations on the tigers, please).
