Edith Odell Korthauer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2018, at the age of 96, Edith Odell Korthauer (Katy, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gamble and Effie Gamble; her husband Harry Korthauer; her siblings, Helen (Seigfried Backhaus) and Glenn Gamble (Mildred); and her brother-in-law Wilhelm Backhaus.
She is survived by: her sister Artie Backhaus; her son Ken Korthauer (Sue) of Houston; her grandsons, Dane of Houston and Collin (Whitney) of Corvallis; and also Katy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, 408 N. Baylor Street, Brenham, Texas, 77833.
