He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Arthur Miller and Ethel May Warner Miller; his children, JoAnn Lyn Miller and David L. Miller, Jr.; his granddaughters, Amanda Miller Mjewski and Cassidy Louise Schoppe; his siblings, Lewis Miller (Katherine) and Merle Burgess (A. D.); his father-in-law Edward; his siblings-in-law, Donald Thompson, Milton Case and Barbara Thompson; his nephew Doug Thompson; and his nieces, Ethel Lee Kessler, Kelly Bauch and Alice Case.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Elizabeth; his wife Jeanette "Jan" Miller; his daughter Elizabeth Miller Schoppe of El Paso; his grandchildren, Bethany Bunch (Nick) of El Paso and David Schoppe of Colorado Springs, CO; his great grandchildren, Ivory Sanders, Cody Bunch, Nora Bunch and Carson Bunch; his sister Betty Henry of Sealy; and his siblings-in-law, David Thompson (Laurie), Edward Thompson, Dale Thompson (MaryLou), MaryAnn Case, Kathy Walton (Doug) and Joyce Weherman (Darcy). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Sealy's Youth Group.
