She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Vincent Hewitt and Annie Grey Hewitt; her husband John W. Dehnert, Jr.; and her brother James Cass Hewitt. She is survived by: her grandson Mop; her daughters, Laurie Dehnert and Myna Letlow (Casey Letlow); her grandson Cole Letlow; and also Annie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Annie Laurie "Sister" Dehnert went to be with her Savior on August 9, 2018 following her long battle with Alzheimer's.
