She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Thompson and Emma Lois Thompson (Rivoire); and her nephew Lance Thompson. She is survived by: her brother Roger Thompson; her nieces, Shanda Brawner and Kayse Hampton (Clayton); her nephew Clint Thompson (Kristin); and her great-nieces, Emma Hampton and Ava Thompson. She is also survived by her nieces, nephew, and great-nieces.
