With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert William Brown (Jourdanton, Texas), who passed away on October 6, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown and Aurora Brown (Benavides); his wife Mary Helen Brown; and his siblings, Adeline, Raymond, Buddy and William.
He is survived by: his siblings, Josephine Brown Segura, Ruben, Johnny, Tommy and Jimmy Brown; his children, Cheryl Brown, Nancy Garza (Rudy) and Bobby Brown (Lydia); his grandchildren, Matthew Benavides (Amanda), Jaclyn Benavides, Jason Garza, Justin Garza, Trey Brown (Brenda) and Jenifer Griego (Mark); his great grandchildren, Mikayla Castillo, Marina Castillo, Michael Castillo, Melaina Castillo, Ayden Garza, Jordan Garza, Aidon Benavides, Matthew Benavides, Madisyn Benavides, Brooklyn Benavides, Zoey Garza, Brodie Garza, M'Lynn Griego, Colten Brown, William Griego, Braden Griego, Peyton Brown and Tanner Brown; his children, Wilbur and Dorendia; and also Robert.
One of his requests was that, in lieu of flowers, family and friends would be encouraged to send gifts or donations to an authorized Veterans' Organization of their choice or to a Cancer Research Organization of their choice, in hopes that future generations might see the end of this dreadful disease.
