She was predeceased by: her children, Diane Marie Ruebottom, John Carl Rizzo and George Phillip Rizzo; her parents, Carl Schmidt and Ida Schmidt; and her siblings, Elvira Ristow, Alma Schuh, Hertha Wright, Walter, Alton, Edmund and Edward Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Elvie Adamson of Wylie, Trish Panknin, Betty Bailey, Jacqueline Shew and James Rizzo (Vanessa); her daughter-in-law Carlene Rizzo of Corpus Christi; her brothers, Carl Schmidt (Sara Beth) of Sandia and George Schmidt (Marilyn) of Corsicana, Texas; her sister-in-law Muriel Rizzo of Houston; and her grandchildren, Tim Rizzo (Maggie), Ginny Horrell, Andy Adamson (Keri) of Wylie, Shay Marlar (Chris) of San Antonio, Nick Adamson (Lindsy) of Houston, Josh Panknin of New York City, Ben Rizzo (Denise) of Fredericksburg, John Ruebottom (Lena) of Dayton, Jake Panknin of Corpus Christi, Katie Ruebottom of Corpus Christi, Carrie Eaton (Edward) of Corpus Christi, Jarried Rizzo (Melissa) of Corpus Christi, Cyndi Barber (James) of Corpus Christi, Laura Shaffie (Lenox) of Corpus Christi, Michael Bailey of Corpus Christi, Christian Bailey of Corpus Christi, Blas Rizzo of Corpus Christi, Anthony Rizzo of Corpus Christi and Christina Sykes (Mitchell) of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
