He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johnson and Thelma Johnson; and his siblings, Billy Edwards, Johnny Edwards, James Edwards, Charles Edwards and Cecil Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Johnson of Burleson; his sons, Terry Johnson (Amy) of Burleson and Robert Johnson (Julie) of Burleson; his grandchildren, Ty Johnson (Samantha), Robert Johnson, Jr. (Jessica), Chris Johnson and Tristian Johnson (Paige); his great grandchild Troy Michael Johnson; and his sisters, Millie Otwell, Ruth Carroll and Betty Vereker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
