She was predeceased by: her mother Nancy Dubbs Hughes. She is survived by: her father Myron "Mike" Hughes (Joyce); her husband Terry Markum; her children, Terry Markum Jr. (Gloria), Barbara Herring (David) and Robin Markum; her grandchildren, Torian Markum, Dylan, Davis Herring, Emmalee and William Alvarez; and her brothers, Scott Hughes (Jan), Matt Hughes and Brian Hughes (Elizabeth). She is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
