She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl James Wheat and Jeanetta Lovelace Swazey Wheat; her husband Gilbert Ray Whatley of Jefferson; her children, Charles Bornman, Jr., Penny Wray (Ricky), Steven Whatley (Mirna) and Victoria Coats (James); and her siblings, Susie Pease, Earlene Echols and Edwin Wheat. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
