He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bishop and Claudia Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bishop; his daughters, Kari Pickering and Wendy; his son-in-law Aaron Hoecherl; his stepdaughters, Carol Tallant and Charlotte Wise; his sister Bobbie; his brother-in-law Jimmy Johnson; his brother Charlie Venson; his sister-in-law Linda Bishop; his grandsons, Davis Pickering and Reid Hoecherl; his stepgrandchildren, Kayla DeMoss, David Wise, Garlon and Travis Swistok; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Austin and Aaron DeMoss. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of customary remembrances the family requests with gratitude that memorials be made to Hospice of East Texas, Longview Arboretum, or a Veterans Organization of your choice.
