Venice Helen Swanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2022, at the age of 87, Venice Helen Swanson of Jasper, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odis Ray and Vera Sowell; her husband Otis Swanson; and her siblings, Jerry Sowell, C. B. Sowell and Mary Jane Rogers.
She is survived by: her son Johnnie Merritt of Woodville, Texas; her sisters, Darlene Simmons (Ronnie) of Houston, Texas and Laverne Ruth Sowell of Houston, Texas; and her grandchildren, Paul Thomas Merritt, Michael Rappingale Merritt, Benjamin Patrick Merritt and Megan Ruggles. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
