It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wynell Morton of Jacksonville, Texas, born in Plainview, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Oliver and Ethel Mary McElroy Lee; her husbands, Alvin Montgomery, Bobby Morton and Charles Holley; her daughter Leanne Kendrick; her grandson Patrick Morton; her brothers, H. Carroll Lee and H. Laverne Lee; and her stepson Robert Morton.
She is survived by: her son Curtis Montgomery (Becky) of Jacksonville; her stepsons, Carl Morton of California and David Morton (Sheri) of Oceanside, CA; her brother Earlon Lee (Lillie) of Grand Saline; and her grandchildren, Jessica Leach, Josh Morton, Jason Morton, Jaime Morton, Juliana Morton, Brian Morton, Scott Morton, Ryan Montgomery, Kadie Johnston, Summer Quillin, Chandy Alcalan, Carly Brown and Chris Yates. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
