It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Curry of Jacksonville, Texas, born in Palestine, Texas, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boyd and Ruby Josie Lee Kennedy (Morris); her husband Leon Curry; her son-in-law Phil Greenawalt; and her siblings, Johnny Kennedy, Ernest Kennedy (Buddy), David Kennedy (Charlie), Linda Pendland and Annette Curry Seckler.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Curry (Rhonda) of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Carol Hooker (Jay) of Jacksonville, Suzanne Rogers (Alan) of Waxahachie, Nancy Reese (Bill) of Sulphur Springs, Terri Underwood (Byron) of New Summerfield, Texas, Doug Curry (Glenda) of Midlothian, Texas and Kristi Greenawalt of Delta, Colorado; her sisters, Diana Funderburk, Kay Denson and Mary Seeber; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Newhouse (Dylan), Alecia Danishek (Michael), Bradley Curry (Heather), Nicolas Hooker (Pennie), Betsy Foster (Matthew), April Powell (Chris), Chad Rogers (Julie), Brandon Rogers (Jennifer), Meredith Reese, Amanda Melton (Ross), Megan Haisten (Ethan), Grady Underwood (Chelsea), Justin Underwood (Jennifer), Jared Underwood (Amanda), Josh Curry (Cherina), Matt Curry (Lainey) and Katelyn Gajic (Nikola). She is also survived by 38 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
