He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshel McCaslin and Edna McCaslin; his brother James McCaslin; and his close friend Terrell Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Pierce McCaslin; his daughter Launa; his son-in-law Michael Bacon of Palestine; his daughter Kaytee; his son-in-law Woody Hassell of Jacksonville; his son Justin; his daughter-in-law Meridith McCaslin of Tyler; his grandchildren, Alex Hassell, Avery Bacon, Lennon Hassell, Austyn Bacon, Quinn McCaslin and Elias McCaslin; his sister Corrine; his brother-in-law Rick Thompson of Corsicana; his sister Diane; and his brother-in-law Don Foster of Arlington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
