He was predeceased by: his father Ivan "Lash" LaRue; and his father-in-law Carl Sparks. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Thomas; his wife Angela Sparks LaRue; his children, Paige, Braedon and Dylan LaRue; and his siblings, Damon Scott LaRue (Melissa), Tom LaRue (Tiffini) and Dani LaRue. He is also survived by many other family members, friends, and co-workers.
