He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchell Leslie and Alma Rosetta Daniel Leslie; and his wives, Jo Ann Leslie and Betty Leslie. He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Leslie (Vicki) and Ladonna Hill (Kevin); his brothers, Don Leslie (Beverly) and Darrell Leslie (Jo); his grandchildren, Charity Campbell (Ian), Amanda Carpenter (Aaron) and Ryan Matthew Hill; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Molly, Ella Carpenter, Samuel and Amelia Campbell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
