With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marla Gwen Martin of Hurst, Texas, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Baxter Moore; her father-in-law John Edward Martin Jr.; and her sister-in-law Judy Kay Martin. She is survived by: her husband Charlie; her son JB; her daughter-in-law Taylor; her granddaughter Mabel; her son Justin; her mother Jeanette Mustian; her sister Nancy Moore; her mother-in-law Patsy Martin; her brother-in-law John David Martin; her niece Meredith Wright; her nephew Clark Wright; and also JB. She is also survived by coworker, and friend.
The family requests that attendees wear masks.
In lieu of flowers, Gwen has asked that donations be made to a cancer research organization, First United Methodist Church of Hurst's Mission Central, or a local animal shelter.
