He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Grover; his aunt Christine Rabun; his former wife Josephine Brannon; his mother Burma Lee Skinner (Josephine West); his siblings, Barbara Strickland and Lamar Skinner; his son-in-law Charlie Odiorne; his stepdaughter Angela Booker; his wife Marcene West of Hurst; his children, Jim West (Debbie) of Colleyville, Tim West (Krissty) of St. Jo and Delores Odiorne of Round Rock; his stepchildren, Jimmy Day (Bobbie) of Howard and Racene Day (Tad Woofter) of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Brett West (Christine), Lacey West, Stephanie West, Wyatt West, Charles Odiorne (Jennifer) and Tony Odiorne (Leslie); his stepgrandchildren, Stormy Day, Darren Hamby, James Hamby, Brianna Proctor, Kate Booker, Cole Woofter, Rachel Woofter and Garrett Woofter; his great grandchildren, Silas, Josephine, Lila, Abe, Charlie, Roxie, Ryan and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Raylene Reese (Jimmy), Carolyn Wages, Sherold Skinner (Brenda), Genevieve Slate and Frankie Skinner. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made the Hood County Senior Center.
