She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Rufus and Patsy Anna Barrow Amerson; her husband Bobby Green; and her siblings, Charlie "Charles" Amerson, Gary Amerson, Joe Dean Amerson, Ricky Amerson, Ruby Faye Amerson Grady, Patsy Jean Amerson Lockett and Mary Evelyn Amerson Payton.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Anshay Amerson and Marlya Shawnette Mitchell (Geoffrey); her siblings, Ernest Amerson (Mattie) of Fort Worth and Linda Amerson; and her niece Gwendolyn Joyce Franklin (Carl) of Fort Worth, TX. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
