She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan R. Hernandez and Librada Juarez Hernandez; her brothers, Francisco and Roberto Hernandez; her husband Bobby Chico Garcia; and her sons, Bobby Layne and John "Bubba" Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Zuniga (David Zuniga) of Huntsville, Genevieve Mayes (Davd Mayes) of Sweetwater and Lorenzo "Larry" Garcia of Huntsville, Texas.; and her siblings, Lidia Shadle, Connie Roussett (Ray Roussett), Benjamin Hernandez and Ruben Hernandez (Betty Hernandez). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
