He was predeceased by: his parents, Nona Lee (Collier) and John Henry White II; and his siblings, Mary Allen Stewart, Kenneth Runnels and Mike Runnels.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline White of Huntington; his children, Sherry Ramsey (Mark) of Lufkin, Jerry "Bud" White (Debbie) of Huntsville and Tami White of Huntington; his grandchildren, Shane (Shellie Nerren), Blake Nerren, Marca (Alan Thigpen) and Whitney (Michael Walhof); his great great grandchildren, Hadley Nerren of Huntington, Case Nerren of Huntington and Cole Nerren of Huntington; his brother Jerold Runnels of Lufkin; and his sister-in-law Judy Runnels of Huntington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
