It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Hegar (Holland, Texas), born in Hubbard, Texas, who passed away on November 5, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Hegar and Mary Bolf Hegar; and his siblings, Daniel, Edwin, Robert, Frank, Lillie Anna Foster and Gladys Janett Hegar.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sonya Michelle and Jill Andrea; his brother John Allen Hegar of Terrell, Texas; his wife Kathryn Hegar; his daughters, Sonya Hegar Schneider (Fred Schneider) of Frisco and Jill Hegar Wood (Eiland Wood) of Greeley, Colorado.; and his grandchildren, Dr. Randi Wood of Parker, Colorado, Travis Schneider of Berkeley, California and Austin Schneider of College Station, Texas. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
