He was predeceased by: his parents, Leaton Akin and Mary Lou Akin (Smith); and his sister Sue Weems of Sherman. He is survived by: his spouses, Yvonne Martin and Yvonne Akin of Hillsboro; and also, Jimmy, Vicky Allen of Ferris, Donnie Allen, Del Allen, Rodney Cole of Waelder, Jeff, Jeanna Desborough of Wichita Falls, Chris, Tina Handrick of Lincoln, Danny and Emma Cole of Hillsboro. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
