She was predeceased by: her sons, David McDaniel and Dwight McDaniel; her granddaughter Stephanie Ann Peterson; and her siblings, James Leslie Franklin, Thomas Franklin and Joyce Hodges.
She is survived by: her parents, James Leslie and Audrey Mae Franklin (Rice); her spouse Marion Johnson McDaniel; her children, Marilyn Peterson (Morris) of Hillsboro, Craig McDaniel of Louisville and Gordon McDaniel of Sidney; and her sister Margie Chupp of De Leon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
