He was predeceased by: his son Todd; his parents, Buck and Bessie; and his brother Clyde Walker (Pete). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Ginger Vargas (Carlos); his grandson Ryan Vargas; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Walker of Ft. Worth, Sue Farmer (Ronnie) of Ft. Worth, LaNora Keeton (Ronnie) of Ft. Worth, Gayle Gilcrease (Steve) of Allen, Buddy Conger of Crowly and Ronnie Conger (Joyce) of Burleson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
