He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Samuel and Ursla Carroll (Kline); his wife Phyllis Carroll; his son Eddie Ray Carroll, Jr.; and his siblings, Shirley Petzold and Billy Cantrell.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joshua David Carroll (Janetha) and Kathryn Danielle Carroll; his great grandchild Levi Carroll; and his daughter-in-law Heather Reed.
