He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Clayton and Vera Attys Mitchell (Hinton); his sister Lou Ann Morman; his brothers-in-law, James "Hoppy" Ryan and David "Buck" Emery; and also, Dwain Marrow and Joe Morman.
He is survived by: his sisters, Bertha Nell Ryan of Bedford, Coylene Emery of Grandview and Billie Clendennen (David) of Whitney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A very devoted son, Clayton dedicated 12 years of his life to caring for his mother during her battle with Alzheimers.
