He was predeceased by: his father Joe M. Garcia Sr.; his stepfather Jacinto A. Esqueda; and his daughter Mallory A. Garcia. He is survived by: his mother Petra F. Esqueda of Hereford, Texas; his brothers, Joe Garcia (Maria) of Amarillo, Texas and Benito Garcia (Beth) of Canyon, Texas; and his grandchildren, Brandon Lavato, Arianna Lavato and Alan "Ace" Padilla of Bernallilo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-nieces and nephews.
