He is survived by: his wife Reyes Ruiz; his children, Rene Ruiz of Hereford, Joe Riojas (Sabrina) of Hereford, Severiano Riojas of Hereford, Oralia Riojas (Tony Ortega) of Hereford and Maria Riojas of Port Arthur, Texas; his father Ramiro Ruiz Chacon of Mexico; and his siblings, Ramiro Ruiz (Lordes) of Hereford, Fernando Ruiz (Hilda) of Hereford, Oscar Ruiz of Hereford, Minerva Ruiz of Hereford and Nario Ruiz (Patricia) of Mexico. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
