He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernadino Gamboa and Alvina Gamboa (Sarabia); his wife Maria Gamboa; and his siblings, Jamie Gamboa, Freddie Gamboa, Margarita Rivera and Letica Barela.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Gamboa (Maria), Isaac Gamboa (Carol) of Plainview, TX., Joshua Paul Gamboa (Katherine) of Austin, TX., Yvette Gamboa of Hereford, TX. and Yvonne Gamboa of Temple, TX.; his sisters, Alice Garza (Robert) of Bossier City, LA., Yolanda Garza (Pablo) of Bossier City, LA. and Beatrice DeLoera (Jorge) of Carrollton, TX.; his grandchildren, Karis Elizabeth Gamboa, Ian Hunter Gamboa, Mateo Austin Gamboa, Marisa Daneé Sauls, Roman Christopher Rodriguez, Christian Yvette Cadena, Esteban Joshua Gamboa and Santiago Anthony Gamboa; and his great grandchildren, Juliana Marie Gamboa and Gracie May Sauls.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Monday June 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Genesis Church with Pastor Daniel Romero officiating, A private family burial will follow at West Park Cemetery due to COVID-19 and the requirements of the cemetery, the Gamboa family wants to keep everyone safe and healthy.
