It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald McCathern in Hereford, Texas, born in Sayre, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 13, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Emmett, Sr. and Mae McCathern; his siblings, Elona Mae, Peggy Lillard and James Emmett, Jr.; and his grandson Michael Wayne McCathern.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Traweek; his children, Michael McCathern (Susan Kuehler), Amber Rose McCathern, Lorelei Corrillo, Anneke Johnson and Kathy Parker (Larry Parker) of Castle Rock; his grandchildren, Tara Sealy, Trae Parker and Tyler Parker; his daughter Kolleen McCathern of Hereford; and his grandchildren, Sydnea Newland, Brody Newland and Kian Newland.
